Gargantua (National Theatre)

Craig directed Gargantua, a new play by Carl Grose, as part of the National Theatre Connections festival 2011. In collaboration with the National Theatre, Sheffield Theatres, Deda and the University of Derby, Craig directed a team of young creatives on staging what was the festival's most challenging play. Using movement, physical theatre, clown, puppetry and music, Gargantua was cinematic and epic in its presentation. "Really interesting visuals" Carl Grose (Playwright) "Strong comic performances. Full of personality. Imaginative and professional looking production. Cinematic and forceful in its telling!" Jonathan Humphries (National Theatre Director)
